Hey, Can we talk about wearing white after Labor Day? 🤔 Every year, this hits me about the same time – I’m in my closet and reach for a sundress or my white shorts and I realize it’s not technically “summer” anymore. And then I go into “doing it right” mode and stand there and ponder whether I should wear the damn thing anyway. Seriously? I’m a grown-ass woman – I can wear whatever I want! But it’s the “doing it right” thing I really want to talk about here. That’s a pattern. A really OLD pattern that roots all the way down to the belief that “I don’t know how to BE”. I can remember that feeling as a child – always comparing, always measuring myself against what everyone else seemed to already know, rather than trusting what felt true for me. I know exactly where it came from and it’s probably why I do this work today – because subtle moments and messages can root beliefs just as deeply as the big, traumatic ones. We tend to blow past them and they just keep keeping us stuck. When I’m standing there in my closet, it’s not my adult that’s pondering – it’s her. Today, my adult is the one who shows up for her and reminds her who she IS. Obviously, this isn’t about an outfit. 😉 It’s about a sacred shift that happens on the inside and changes everything on the outside. Is there some place in your life you’re still pondering? 💗 Kate Kate A. Bares | Soul Integration Methodâ„¢ Inside is the way out. ~Kate → Get your Breakthrough Blueprint |
