I like to save podcasts and little mini-workshops for road trips and this weekend I was listening to one with Laura Belgray. WHO KNEW IT WAS GONNA CHANGE MY LIFE!
I can’t even tell you all the pro-tips she offered, because what shifted me was just one thing she said: WRITE LIKE YOU TALK. Don’t edit, don’t AI it. Just BE YOU.
And whaa-laaa – I’m back! 💥
You really never know how one person’s experience or guidance can open up a valve you didn’t even know was shut! You gotta trust those nudges.
That one piece of advice gave me the permission I’d been withholding from myself to just be ME. Why, I don’t know – I think in the age of AI and all things virtual, I was starting to lose my true voice.
Truth is, I love writing and genuinely connecting with my people, so I’m coming back, baby. 😎
Is there some place in your life where you feel like you’re losing your voice? Where you’re not showing up in a way that feels completely true and real for you?
