You ever have that moment where you think, “Okay, I’ve dealt with this, I’m good,” only to find yourself triggered by the SAME. DAMN. THING?
Yeah. Me too.
Here’s what I want to remind you of today: Healing isn’t linear – and it’s not about doing it “right”. It’s about staying in the room with yourself, even when the old stuff shows up in new ways.
You’ve already done so much powerful work. That doesn’t just disappear. But your nervous system, your inner child, your subconscious – they sometimes need a little reminding that you’re safe now. That you’ve got you. That it’s okay to pause and recalibrate.
So, if you’ve fallen off the “practice” wagon (hi, welcome to humanity), here are 3 things you can do today to re-center:
✨ Name the Trigger: Say it out loud. Writing it down works too. Clarity kicks shame to the curb. ✨ Give Yourself What You Needed Then: Not sure what that is? Close your eyes. Ask your little one inside. She knows. ✨ Set ONE Tiny Boundary Today: That can mean saying no. Or not replying right away. Or just giving yourself 5 minutes alone in the bathroom with no guilt. That counts.
You’re doing better than you think.
And if you’re feeling off-track or like something new is surfacing, I’ve put together a Reclamation Guide + Compassionate Self-Reflection Workbook that you can download free, filled with simple prompts that help you tune in, not numb out – and get you back in touch with you.
Most importantly, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I’m still here for you – and your healing is always welcome in this space.
I look forward to connecting with you again soon!
With so much love, Kate ❤️
