“Knowing our Truth does not necessarily equip us to live it."
Kate Bares-Cochrun

Kate Bares-Cochrun has developed the practice of Soul Integration Therapy™ (SIT™) over the past 25 years through her work as a intuitive counselor and Soul guide for individuals and couples, from all walks of life and all stages of healing and spiritual "Soul" recovery. In early 2012, Kate was called to expand her work for others to guide and by January 2013, the first Soul Integration Therapy Training™ (SITT™) was launched! The SITT™ program is a two-year intensive certification/apprentice training, now available for those who have benefited from Soul Integration Therapy™ in their own process of healing and integration, and feel the call and commitment to be of service through facilitating the experience for others.

I grew up in a small town outside of Houston Texas with my parents and two sisters. I moved to Austin ten years ago when I met my husband. We have been together for eleven years and we just welcomed our first daughter in January 2013. My professional life finds me in the clinical research industry, where I have worked for over five years and I have been fortunate to have had a very rewarding and challenging career. Outside of my professional life, I am transitioning into holistic mental health care with The Center of Well Being.

I look forward to helping individuals from all walks of life achieve their full potential through my work with this organization. I have found a great deal of peace, joy, and fulfillment from my practices of many years. My personal practice has created a calm center within me, a clear sense of self, and a deep desire to help others. My experiences, struggles, and triumphs are at the helm of who I am and what I will impart during retreats, workshops and/or personal one-on-one’s.
