“Knowing our Truth does not necessarily equip us to live it."
Kate Bares-Cochrun

Kate Bares-Cochrun has developed the practice of Soul Integration Therapy™ (SIT™) over the past 25 years through her work as a intuitive counselor and Soul guide for individuals and couples, from all walks of life and all stages of healing and spiritual "Soul" recovery. In early 2012, Kate was called to expand her work for others to guide and by January 2013, the first Soul Integration Therapy Training™ (SITT™) was launched! The SITT™ program is a two-year intensive certification/apprentice training, now available for those who have benefited from Soul Integration Therapy™ in their own process of healing and integration, and feel the call and commitment to be of service through facilitating the experience for others.

Joni is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with over 20 years of personal experience in 12 Step recovery. She is most passionate about bringing awareness and healing to the underlying foundation of eating disorders, as well as other addictions, and serving those in the process of grief. She has vast life experience, including three years serving as a counselor in the Texas Prison System, which helped to reinforce her ability to relate to people in all stages of their life's journey, truly seeing and guiding their authentic Self to the surface. Her experience as a certified parenting instructor lends much to her current position as a Youth Counselor at a local non-profit agency while working on her graduate studies at Sam Houston State University, pursuing a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As a meditation teacher and Reiki Master, Joni also has an immense amount of knowledge and experience as a Spiritual guide, bringing over 20 years of experience in digging and discarding unconscious beliefs that keep us "stuck", be it in the area of love, relationships or career. Joni is gifted with a fun, dynamic personality and the ability to experience the best in everyone she meets, and can think of no higher calling than guiding and participating in the healing of individuals and families. She loves family, travel, volunteering, having fun, and hearing the sound of people laughing!

I grew up in a small town outside of Houston Texas with my parents and two sisters. I moved to Austin ten years ago when I met my husband. We have been together for eleven years and we just welcomed our first daughter in January 2013. My professional life finds me in the clinical research industry, where I have worked for over five years and I have been fortunate to have had a very rewarding and challenging career. Outside of my professional life, I am transitioning into holistic mental health care with The Center of Well Being.

I look forward to helping individuals from all walks of life achieve their full potential through my work with this organization. I have found a great deal of peace, joy, and fulfillment from my practices of many years. My personal practice has created a calm center within me, a clear sense of self, and a deep desire to help others. My experiences, struggles, and triumphs are at the helm of who I am and what I will impart during retreats, workshops and/or personal one-on-one’s.
